In this section we will learn, how to create, edit, update, delete knowledgebase category

Create Category

To the create the knowledgebase category, click on the create knowledgebase which will open the popup modal, popup modal will contains the below things, you can see those fields in the below image also

  1. Knowledgebase category name

  2. category description

  3. Title view

The knowledgebase category name, contains the the category name, after that we have given the description field where you can add the knowledbase description.

If you see the title view it has 3 radio buttons, both category and knowledgebase, if you choose both then the category will be used as the knowledgebase category and your primary category.

primay category means we will ask the category name from the customer during the ticket submission, if you marked as both then the same category name will be used in the ticket submission and in the knowledgebase, I have added the primary category snap in the below image

Edit Category

To edit the knowledgebase category, click on the edit icon which will open the popup modal, popup modal will contains the below things, you can see those fields in the below image also

Delete Category

To edit the knowledgebase category, click on the delete icon, it will first ask whether you want to delete the category or not.
